About Be A Scientist! Describe Your Pet:

This website allows you to create a description of your pet — the way a scientist might — then share it with the world. When a scientist describes an animal, it probably sounds different than the way you would do it. Scientists describe parts of animals that you might not even know, like scutes on a turtle, for instance. Now you can be the scientist and scientifically describe your pet! After your description, you can upload a picture of your pet for everyone to see.

Be sure to visit the Indiana State Museum to see the Science on the Edge exhibit March 24 through Oct. 28, 2012.
